About Montana Grind

Montana Grind was filmed, edited, and directed by Danilo dos Reis (aka Dan Reis), a documentarist who saw the opportunity to tell this story as it was becoming history. It is a pretty authentic and original scene.

The main goal of the project is to demonstrate how a skatepark can be a strong protective factor for all segments of a community, particularly those that lack the necessary funds to build one. It aims to inspire small communities to unite, build a skatepark, and enjoy the resulting benefits for all generations.

Having the help from Pearl Jam's Montanan Jeff Ament made everything even more special. From making the music to suggesting interviews and connecting people, his role in Montana Grind is bigger than can be credited.
